I can't help but feel as though I'm part of that drinkin', drug smokin' group of fun guys in Platoon, as opposed to the serious, "I like it here" Vietcong Killers. Not that I'm referring to anybody in MetaFilter in such a way. You know what I'm talking about, or are the drugs still doing their thing on me?
MeFi/9622 is more like Apocalypse Now than Platoon ashbury. CC would be the psycho chef fro N'awlins, Kaf would be the Surfer on Acid, Eyeballkid would be Martin Sheen. I, of course, would be Dennis Hopper's psycho jounalist. I'm not sure who would be Brando's character...

Hey, I was gonna say Full Metal Jacket and make Stav Private Joker and myself Adam Baldwin's character(the nut with the M1). But it fell apart when I couldn't decide who would be Private Pyle..you could be R. Lee Ermey's character, I suppose. :)
