Our dear Commish, and perhaps others, are finding themselves locked out of 9622.net while at work. I don't know how that works, but I've added a subdomain, which may help get around the problem. If you can't get to www.9622.net, try foobar.9622.net. It's worth a shot.

No dice. It's either our filter blocking the ".net" domain, in which case I'll need to find a legitimate .net site that I "need" to access, or there's something about 9622's template that makes the filter think its full of viruses, in which case I'll have to think of a more clever way to approach our network admin. Thanks for trying, though, guys.

Ah, home again, with a beer in hand and the tie off. Again, thanks for trying. I do think it's an accident that 9622 is being blocked by our work server, but I'll obviously need to approach the subject delicately. I mean, why would they deliberately block 9622 and not MeFi? (or Fark, for that matter?)
Posted by: yhbc on June 21, 2002 06:52 PMI do think it's an accident that 9622 is being blocked....
It's not an accident, commish. It's all part of the grand anti-simian conspiracy, I tell ya. But my banana bomb will foil their evil plan.
Posted by: jonmc on June 21, 2002 11:50 PMThere's a subscribe to comments (via email)feature in MT which we could possibly fire up in the meantime...never tried it...
Oh and it was jpoulos that tried to help, not me...just sayin'...

We encourage users to post images, especially those hilarous pics of monkeys
wearing dresses or programming for Linux. But posting images that reside on someone
else's server is considered by many to be bandwidth theft. Our thoughts
on the matter, along with some solutions to the problem, can be found
here. Thanks.
