June 21, 2002 : Philosophy Shock: Thought Is Less Like Humans Than Sex-crazed Bonobos

And that's exactly the way it should be. Dude: Bonobos rule.

People have said these things about that :

Here's the funny thing. When I loaded the Geocities link, I got a pop-under ad that I didn't bother to look at until after I read the Bonobos page.

The pop-under asked "Is there pornography on your computer?"

I thought "Well, there wasn't until I got this page full of hot monkey love."

Speaking of sex-crazed bonobos, is anyone else unable to get through to FetaMilter, and feeling a little jittery?

There was some mention of a problem with the DNS host at turlyming.com News to me, but turlyming and MeFi are related. Jittery? I suppose, but it's Saturday. Nothing happens on Saturday. *waiting for disaster now that I've tempted the Gods*

I forgot about

and

I am a dumbhead. They work, but are superslow for some reason.

It seems that MeFi is accessable at least to some people, but MeTa is not. This may not be a bad thing after all.

Why not join in and say something too?

A note about posting images:

We encourage users to post images, especially those hilarous pics of monkeys wearing dresses or programming for Linux. But posting images that reside on someone else's server is considered by many to be bandwidth theft. Our thoughts on the matter, along with some solutions to the problem, can be found here. Thanks.
