Here's the funny thing. When I loaded the Geocities link, I got a pop-under ad that I didn't bother to look at until after I read the Bonobos page.
The pop-under asked "Is there pornography on your computer?"
I thought "Well, there wasn't until I got this page full of hot monkey love."
Posted by: mr_crash_davis on June 22, 2002 12:41 AMSpeaking of sex-crazed bonobos, is anyone else unable to get through to FetaMilter, and feeling a little jittery?
Posted by: stavrosthewonderchicken on June 22, 2002 08:24 AMThere was some mention of a problem with the DNS host at turlyming.com News to me, but turlyming and MeFi are related. Jittery? I suppose, but it's Saturday. Nothing happens on Saturday. *waiting for disaster now that I've tempted the Gods*

I am a dumbhead. They work, but are superslow for some reason.
Posted by: stavrosthewonderchicken on June 22, 2002 10:56 AMIt seems that MeFi is accessable at least to some people, but MeTa is not. This may not be a bad thing after all.

Posted by: stavrosthewonderchicken on June 22, 2002 11:16 PMA note about posting images:
We encourage users to post images, especially those hilarous pics of monkeys
wearing dresses or programming for Linux. But posting images that reside on someone
else's server is considered by many to be bandwidth theft. Our thoughts
on the matter, along with some solutions to the problem, can be found
here. Thanks.
