This is obviously a joke. As evidence, I point to this passage:
In one serial of Mork and Mindy starring Robin Williams, he makes blatant fun of Catholic priests and the Catholic way of life. Mindy also persuades him not to become a priest as if it were something detestable and evil. She goes on to subtly tell him not to have faith in God but faith in one's self. The dialogs also portray the priests as fools who join the priesthood because of unemployment and not because of divine calling.
Next thing you know, those fucker will be usuing *foreshadowing* and *allegory* and all sorts of other diabolical bigwords.
