I was fortunate enough to see the Who twice - July 2, 1980, and December 4, 1982, both in Dallas. They were the only so-called "dinosaur band" left that I would have considered shelling out the big bucks now to see a third time. Not any more - so long, John. Say "hi" to Keith for me.

I'm left with only tears
I must remember
Even if it takes a million years...
Did a little Quadrophoenia when I got home. I'm not one for obits, but for some reason this one got to me. I was raised with The Who and still think they and the Stones are the greatest pure rock n roll bands ever.
I'd say it's a waste, but it's not that.
The music lives on and always will.

We encourage users to post images, especially those hilarous pics of monkeys
wearing dresses or programming for Linux. But posting images that reside on someone
else's server is considered by many to be bandwidth theft. Our thoughts
on the matter, along with some solutions to the problem, can be found
here. Thanks.
