Anyone else seeing this a little too often? I'm thinking our admins are spending a little too much time getting drubk, and a little too little time...adminning...or whatever it is we're paying them for.

I did that for adampsyche.com, and I noticed a big speed increase. Sometimes, for reason unbeknownst to me, having an MT installation around for a while slows it down (or so it seems). It was nice to clean house and reinstall fresh.
Thing is, that would require the reconfiguration of users and templates (no big deal) and categories, but that isn't a big deal. It is a bit of work, but when exported, the categories are exported as well, so you can import them back into the same categories they were in before. with a one user blog this isn't a big deal, but users would have to be set back up again.
i don't know. i'm rambling. go get drubk.

Luckily the ooompah band is at the other end of the fest, and there's a pretty funkin' groovin' R&B band playing outside my window right about now. Hubby and I even slow-danced to an Al Green tune on the front stoop a bit earlier. Whether times are good or bad, and I'm happy or sad....

I just wanted to say that, having just returned from seeing a local band that sounded amazingly like the Squirel Nut Zippers. But a very nice cover of the the Zippers, still. And they did do a nifty cover of They're Red Hot.
And we all got drubk.
