This makes me a very happy monkey. Quisp is back, as are my beloved Sister. All we need is for the Woody Woodpecker where the dog in the sattelite says, "Alligator, Go Home!!" to be made into a major motion picture, and we will have acheived Retro Nirvana.
Posted by jonmc at October 26, 2002 08:33 PMThere's no need to fear, Underdog is here!
Wally Cox is sorta the patron saint of geeks, if you ask me.
Talking of which, jon, how well do you know your candy bars? No peeking! :)

Posted by: b****fire on October 26, 2002 10:19 PMActually, does anybody remember this cartoon where there were two bears living in a Park who scrounged food offa people, and when a jalopy-load of teenagers happened by, sculpted his head hair into a pompadour grabbed a guitar and sang something like (no shit) "Hound Dog, Hound Dog, Rock and Roll, Hound Dog, Boogie Woogie" after which he was showered with goodies?
Anybody remember or have I finally gone nuts?

Posted by: roe/metrocake on October 27, 2002 11:58 AM...or the Cattanooga Cats, a traveling band of rockin' and rollin' cats who had a number called "My Birthday Suit" which just like our moral guardians predicted resulted in rampant feline nudity all across the country.

Posted by: dejah420 on October 29, 2002 11:32 PMA note about posting images:
We encourage users to post images, especially those hilarous pics of monkeys
wearing dresses or programming for Linux. But posting images that reside on someone
else's server is considered by many to be bandwidth theft. Our thoughts
on the matter, along with some solutions to the problem, can be found
here. Thanks.
