Phew! Glad I made it into the "Top 5 Weirdest Fuckers on the Planet" list again this year. The competition was stiff, but I'm pleased I made the cut.

I'll be there, and hopefully in time for dinner. I get off werk at The Ranch at 5 (but will probably cut out earlier), and will be driving in...can we nail down where dinner will be so I can go straight there if I'm that late? Not a biggie, but I'll shoot for Cherry Tavern.

I don't know where the best place for dinner would be since we don't know how many people are coming yet (or how long they're staying, etc.) How about cell phone communication? This is what they live for.

Actually, my phone lives for those moments when I clean it of dust and debris. It thrives on that kind of individual attention.

There's the whole row of cheap Indian restaurants nearby, of which Panna II is surprisingly good, given the kitschy chili-light decoration. Also nearby, the Three of Cups does good Italian food and can usually seat big parties.

I'll be there with something on--probably not bells, but maybe that bra jon was so eager to see.

I mean, I'll be there if my plane doesn't get hijacked this morning. It is a code "tangerine," after all.

New York's emergency drill, by popular consensus: Make straight for a bar and hunker down.

Well, you could give a shout-out to Crash (who hasn't been seen around these parts lately, perhaps he has finally converted).

Nice yes, but think, what's in a Snickers? Nuts. And nuts just ruin a woman if you ask me.

Panna II is the one one the right, n'est-ce pas? That's the one I usually go to, but definitely not good for a group of more than 4 people. There are bigger ones along 6th St.

I've only ever been downstairs at Three of Cups (my favorite Metal Lounge), but I've heard the food there is pretty great.

I probably shouldn't weigh in seeing as I'll likely only be on the cherry tavern leg of this shindig, but I think that the Gandhi (on 6th) is a good place for crowds. I just had a dinner with 8 people there a coupla weeks ago.

Panna II used to be better than it is now. I guess they changed chefs. The rivalry btwn the Panna II doorman and the other one is fierce. I once watched them get into a fistfight over customers. The Panna II guy took off one of his shoes and was hitting the other guy on the head.

I also like the downstairs part of Three of Cups for the music and the voyeurism. Perhaps you should all retire there after the Tile Bar....oh la la.

I had a birthday party at Three of Cups once. They can certainly handle a group just fine. And the food is quite good. Decent variety, too, if I recall. We'll be fine there.

You are a bunch of the most suave and charming bastards I ever met. Smart, funny, hot, funny, powerful drinkers, funny, kind, etc....I had a great time. The bars were awesome, the food was great, and the company was divine.

There was not even one incident of public lice-picking. I was completely impressed! Plus, you are far too generous, buying this country girl a lovely meal.

The only concern I have is that I left without proper goodbyes--I was a little addled by the end, and hope that I made myself clear about how great it was. If I didn't,

DAMN, BUT YOU ARE SOME FINE MONKEYS! I had a wonderful time. It exceeded all of my simian expectations. And I hope that most of you aren't suffering the powerful effects of the debbil hangover.
