The question has been raised by The Man himself - where has ColdChef been?
In the library with the candlestick?
In the kitchen with Dinah?
In the bayou with the swamp critters?
The possibilities are endless...
My guess? He's putting the hammer down on some Qaeda for his homie Rumsfeld by night, whipping up a big batch of crawdad 'toufee for the Cajun Cooch Command by day.
Either that, or his computer's broken. I think it's the first one, though.
A ColdChef haiku tryptich, as a charm to bring him back:
Doff that tocque, punkass!
Must the chimps in the trees eat
only bananas?
Lo, Kaf hath returned;
and the hoary smell of eye-
ballkid permeates
our virtual fen.
so deliver unto us
our Chef, monkey gods!
Well, I have no idea where he was, but just like a wise man once said, When they get hungry enough, they'll come back.
The lure of oranges and bananas was too strong for Cold Chef.
Posted by: cowboy_sally on June 13, 2003 10:18 AMColdChef has been and always will be in the hearts and minds of children everywhere.
Luckily, that's still legal in Louisiana.
Posted by: Cyrano on June 13, 2003 11:22 AMPardon me, where the hell have you been??
I feel like a mother hen trying to gather all her chicks. A fowl-mouthed hen, at that.
Posted by: tizzie on June 13, 2003 11:29 AMSome say they saw Cold Chef down in the swamp, dancing with the whippoorwill at twilight. Course, some say that's just foolishness and superstition, and maybe swamp gas. But I swear last Friday night I seen him strokin' up on some poor woman got herself lost in the...
Man! What the hell am I talking about?
Posted by: kaf on June 13, 2003 11:32 AMA fowl-mouthed hen, at that.

Posted by: Crash on June 13, 2003 02:53 PMObviously, wherever he's been, he's still there. Don't make any sudden movements.
