We took the fishfucker tour of San Francisco, and we had a lovely time. Thanks to fishy for being such a cordial host to my son and I me.
yeah, i had a blast getting MCD lost, and crash left me with some lovely parting gifts (like herpes! ha ha!) no -- like PITFALL II which i am convinced, is one of the most difficult atari 2600 games EVER (i've gotten to about, uh, the third screen -- only by virtue of the fact that there's nothing that can kill you on the first two.)
Posted by: fishfucker on June 27, 2003 07:14 PMThat was mighty nice of you FF. Being a California native, Mr. Crash & son have done the cooler things in Cali, more than me even. To quote Mark Twain, I've yet to have gone to the coldest coolest place you can spend a summer.
Posted by: Thomcatspike on June 27, 2003 07:29 PMCOME ON, MONKEYS! POST TO MY THREAD! YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO.
Posted by: Crash on June 28, 2003 12:01 AMI'm just fascinated imagining the introduction: "Son, this is my old pal Fishfucker. Say hello to the nice man."
Posted by: tizzie on June 28, 2003 09:42 AMAnd for all of you who are totally psyched about the "Do not call" list, we have had one for a year already in the great Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Now instead of people calling you up and trying to sell you shit, they call you up and ask you if you would take their "survey" - at the end of which, they try to sell you shit. Hilarious.
Posted by: tizzie on June 28, 2003 09:50 AM"trip barber?"
In San Fran, i imagine such a thing might be available. But they're all communists out there, so what can you do.
Posted by: jonmc on June 28, 2003 11:02 AMIs that the Haight B&Js? I had a friend who worked there in college. She served a banana split to Harvey Keitel. Hubba hubba.
Posted by: cowboy_sally on June 28, 2003 12:52 PMI'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume Harvey brought his own banana...
Posted by: jonmc on June 28, 2003 01:23 PMI was afraid to call fishfucker when I was in SF for my honeymoon last fall.
Afraid that he'd take my new wife for his own.

"i should hit on his hot wife."
Posted by: fishfucker on June 29, 2003 03:13 AMSomeone find the ColdChef tongue photo before I forget all my "whale of a time" jokes.
That promenade sounded very convivial and tasty, though mightily lacking in the boozathon stakes!
Will we all be OTW (I refuse to spell it out) one day? I hope not.
PIKACHULOLITA ALERT: Has just posted on The Filter.
Please come home! Immediately! :)
Posted by: Miguel on June 29, 2003 04:11 AMawwww, poor thread.
Here's an announcement to Noo Yawk monkeys:
The inimitable (well, not quite, but do you REALLY want to brave the groupies?) Chico Bangs will be hosting a special "Canada Day" edition of bar trivia tomorrow night (Tuesday 1st July) at the Baggot Inn in the Village. Starts at 7:30 sharp; you may want to get there slightly earlier.
Jeez, and he didn't even pay me for all this plugtastic publicity I'm throwing his way...

We encourage users to post images, especially those hilarous pics of monkeys
wearing dresses or programming for Linux. But posting images that reside on someone
else's server is considered by many to be bandwidth theft. Our thoughts
on the matter, along with some solutions to the problem, can be found
here. Thanks.
