February 28, 2004 : Hot Wheels

Hey, so I'm showing off! Isn't it awesome?!?!?!?

Posted by tizzie at February 28, 2004 08:01 PM

People have said these things about that :

Sorry, I know! Get my own blog!

But hey, it's my first convertible. It's a 2000, only 33K miles, really sweet. Who wants to go for a ride?!?!?!

Posted by: tizzie on February 28, 2004 08:04 PM

Sweet!

And how far do you live from me?

Posted by: b*nn*f*re on February 28, 2004 09:10 PM

Just bring your Tizziemobile out to L.A., dye your hair red and drive me and Randy Newman down Imperial Highway...

Congrats on the cool ride, tiz.
We're fahrvergnugen, now, people...

Sing with me!
Oh, behind the wheel
Of the Tizziemobile...
With the wind in your hair
And your WHAT in the air?

Oooo, I'm jealous. I've always wanted a ragtop...and had I not moved from Atlanta to NYC a couple of years ago, I'd most likely have one now.

Congratulations!

Back in my drivin' days, a convertible woulda been cool. Woulda made for easier Molotov tossing, that's for sure.

Hey! I also have a 2000 Cabrio, mine has 115K KMs on it. Been across the continent 3 times! From British Columbia to Newfoundland and back. Once via California and Florida.

Posted by: Miguel on February 29, 2004 04:00 AM

And she'll have fun, fun, fun 'till her daddy takes the Cabrio away!

Posted by: towerbrave on February 29, 2004 01:46 PM

Ah! Tizzie joins Jpoulos and I in the VW lounge!

Nice.

Sadly, I fear I'm too tall for convertibles. My head sticks a good three or four inches out of the top of most of them, and on the odd chance that the car flipped, I'd wind up looking like a Halloween prank.

However, I could use a volunteer to smash into my piece of shit in traffic and total it. Insurance is a must though. Any takers?

Yeah, welcome to the VW club, tiz.

I bet you can't wait for the "initiation". ;-)

Oh my! Tizzie is topless. Cool ride.

Posted by: thomcatspike on March 1, 2004 06:00 PM

Tizzie is topless.

I thought it felt a bit nipply in here! Thanks, guys.

And Lupo, just say when....

Posted by: tizzie on March 1, 2004 08:30 PM

We have a 2002 Jetta wagon, full leather package. Fiancee drove it out to New Mexico last May and we'll be driving it back to New Hampshire this coming May. Drives real fine like. The Cabrio looks like fun!

Posted by: ana on March 1, 2004 09:53 PM

My next car will be a Jetta.

For the record, I think that this makes 9622 mostly:

English Majors
Whiskey drinkers
VW drivers
and there was some other common denominator that escapes me right now.

Posted by: ColdChef on March 2, 2004 12:17 PM

quadrupeds?

Posted by: kafka, esq. on March 2, 2004 12:18 PM

Third nipplers. Don't forget the third nipplers.

Posted by: tizzie on March 2, 2004 08:07 PM

I am none of those four things, CC & tizzie.

If you need me, I'll be in a dark room listening to "Fade To Black" and pondering my essential otherness. Then I'll gargle with some thumbtacks.

Extra nipples! How could I have forgotten that!

*hugs jon, but pats him down for hidden nipplage*

Posted by: ColdChef on March 3, 2004 06:35 PM

Hey! I've got a VW Jetta, can I join? I don't have the third nipple, but boy howdy have I got big knockers right now. Does that count?

If not, I'm pretty sure I studied English at some point. And I know I've had whiskey.

Posted by: readymade on March 3, 2004 10:46 PM

Readymade!!! Good to hear from you, mamacita! Not to mention your knockers. It's great to hear from them, too!

Posted by: tizzie on March 4, 2004 08:16 AM

Big boobs trumps any other shortcomings.

Hey, the titty-fairy visited my house, too. It's like Christmas, but better.

Posted by: ColdChef on March 4, 2004 11:19 AM

She actually bought us a shirt that reads, "Open 24 Hours."

Of course, it doesn't fit because we've put on a touch of weight, but it's the thought that counts.

Why not join in and say something too?
