Yup, it's real. It's right down the road.

There's a movie now to prove it.
The guy with the white hair, beard, and bib overalls is Don. His brother in law sits next to me at work.
That's sorta like sayin' that your uncle's cousin's best friend knew Andy Griffith. A brush with greatness twice removed.
Oh, and the dog? They once had a dog as mayor of Rabbit Hash, but he passed away. This dog plays that dog in the movie.
Posted by: tizzie on April 16, 2004 09:42 AMSo while y'all go to meet-ups with matthowie in the big city, I minght go down to the General Store and sit on the porch awhile. And scratch the mayor.
Posted by: tizzie on April 16, 2004 09:44 AMI love the credits:
* Lulu the Pig as Herself & Miss Piggy
* Higgins the Donkey as Himself
* Dr. Dre as Dog in Music Video
Didn't Calvin Trillin write something once about celestial fried chicken in Rabbit Hash?
Posted by: Vidiot on April 16, 2004 09:48 AMI love the Special Thanks section of the credits.
I think I have to see this film.
Posted by: aine42 on April 16, 2004 01:30 PMIf I want to see a bunch of goddamned rednecks, I'll go to my family reunion.
Posted by: Crash on April 18, 2004 06:54 PMHey all...i just happened to be surfing around and found this site with some cool mentions of my doc feature...Rabbit Hash - The Center of the Universe. We're really proud of the film and seem to be getting quite a buzz going about it. If you'd like the chance to see this film, please go to www.rabbithashthemovie.com (or even to the various studio sites like Dreamworks / Miramax etc.) and let's keep the buzz going!
Rabbit Hash is a very cool town with great people...who just happened to have had enough of a sense of humor about themselves to elect a DOG as their mayor. I think we should ALL celebrate that in this bizarre and unpredictable political climate that we are in these days.
Thanks again for mentioning the film.

Posted by: Jude Gerard Prest on May 20, 2004 03:59 PMHeh, cool.
He never even complained that I stole the picture.
Posted by: tizzie on May 20, 2004 05:14 PMIt should be noted, however, that he signed his post.
*spits chaw*
Ban 'im, boy.
Posted by: ufez on May 20, 2004 11:45 PMNo problem on 'stealing the picture'. I will take all the publicity I can get.
Now I wonder...why would you not sign your post? ...is that some unwritten internet online honor code that I am woefully unaware of...
Or do some people just need something, no matter how petty, to complain about???

Heh. Anybody else want to handle this?
Posted by: ColdChef on May 21, 2004 11:30 PMOkay, that was a crappy thing to say. It's just that...when you sign your name, it's kind of redundant. Because, it's already signed.

Your pal,
ColdChef
And yes, I am an admittedly petty person. Sorry. Can't wait to see your film.
Posted by: ColdChef on May 21, 2004 11:32 PMFer the love of gawd, CC, the man is a Rabbit Hash booster. All praise is due!
Yours truly, madly, and deeply,
T. Izzie, Esq.
Dear Tizzariffic,
I stand corrected and humbled. I shall never mock again.
I remain yours truly,

Just beward the sabre-wielding sommeliers. That'd be one hell of a time to slip up.

We encourage users to post images, especially those hilarous pics of monkeys
wearing dresses or programming for Linux. But posting images that reside on someone
