That's sorta like sayin' that your uncle's cousin's best friend knew Andy Griffith. A brush with greatness twice removed.
Oh, and the dog? They once had a dog as mayor of Rabbit Hash, but he passed away. This dog plays that dog in the movie.

Rabbit Hash is a very cool town with great people...who just happened to have had enough of a sense of humor about themselves to elect a DOG as their mayor. I think we should ALL celebrate that in this bizarre and unpredictable political climate that we are in these days.
