September 08, 2004 : Defending Koko

She knows more than this curmudgeon thinks.

Doesn't he look like the Evil Scientist in some 1950's horror movie?

People have said these things about that :

Linguists will always deny that animals can talk, Dr. Savage-Rumbaugh argues, "because it doesn't fit comfortably in their view of the universe."

I have $5 that says that guy is blood-related to Donald Pleasance.

And, uh, is Koko playing video poker there? Who took Koko to Vegas??

A resounding "apple nipple crap!" to all the doctors, I say!!!

I just got spam from "A. Lotta Pee." You know, I could think of better stupid names than that when I was in first grade, fer christs sake.

A. Lotta Pee is down to writing spam for a living now? My God, what a shameful decline. To think he was once co-author of the literary classic, "A Long Day's Journey Into the Outhouse", with Willy Makeit and Betty Wont.

As for Dr. Savage-Rumbaugh, the only thing he's written that's worth a damn is "When Cuban Bands Attack."

I am continually impressed by the fake names of spammers. Iguana P. Mastodon is a particular favorite. Of course, that's my grandmother's name, so I'm biased

I think my favorites have been Hephzibah Squires and Hussein Hetty.

Who wouldn't click on anything they have to say?

Great, now I'm picturing Saddam Hussein disguised as Granny from the Beverly Hillbillies. Try getting *that* visual out of your head.

I wonder what our Evil Non-Respectin' teh Animals scientist guy would say about this? Bwahahahaaa!

Why not join in and say something too?

A note about posting images:

We encourage users to post images, especially those hilarous pics of monkeys wearing dresses or programming for Linux. But posting images that reside on someone else's server is considered by many to be bandwidth theft. Our thoughts on the matter, along with some solutions to the problem, can be found here. Thanks.
