Welcome to MATCH GAME 05. I'm your host, Gene Rayburn, and the first question for Charles Nelson Reilly, Betty White, Arte Johnson and YOU, is complete the following sentence:
Every time you [___BLANK___], Domokun kills a puppy.
Posted by chicobangs at May 15, 2005 02:28 PMWe know what happens with the kittens, and with monkeys it's a whole nother thing, but the puppies? It's gotta be something bad.
(Note: No puppies were harmed in the creation of this thread. In fact, many of the dogs in this picture were given a fine array of special meats and foodstuffs just because they were SUCH GOOD DOGS.
Oh yes they were. Oh yes.)
Vidiot & I are in Virginia right now, and it's not only beautiful, but there are 8 million dogs here. It's wonderful.
Posted by: Chico on May 15, 2005 02:52 PMYou boys leave those nice puppies alone.
Just look at those big floppy ears. Awww.
(And give me time on the Match Game thing. Just got in from 2 hours of skating. Too tired to be creative at the moment.)

"listen to Twisted Sister?"
In which case I've caused a puppy holocaust. I'm the puppy Pol Pot, dammit!
Also, 2 weekends ago, I went to Brother Jimmy's on Amsterdam & 80th for pulled pork, collard greens, and beer. They have 3 huge TV's so I got to watch the Mets, too. My gay coworker asked me how I spent my saturday. I told him. He said "Sounds very...straight." What can ya do?
Posted by: jonmc on May 15, 2005 04:57 PMIt is. I went there again yesterday, the I went to Bull McCabe's on St Marks, then to Manitoba's on Ave B. My recollections are somewhat fuzzy beyond that point.
Posted by: jonmc on May 15, 2005 05:28 PMThen all the southern states are joined together in a nefarious Puppy Pogrom!
Posted by: jonmc on May 15, 2005 08:24 PMEvery time you pull taffy, Domokun kills a puppy.
Because, you know, they're sweet.
Posted by: yhbc on May 15, 2005 08:44 PMOK, so I have this job interview tomorrow, which is for a boring internal systems support position but it's for a company that's kind of cool that restored this old candy factory for its offices - so everyone wish me luck, 'cause if I get the job I can give my gramma my Lincoln Town Car and she really needs a nice ride.
Posted by: Crash on May 15, 2005 10:06 PMSince I'm calibrating my personal "maximum time to be unemployed before you really have to worry" scale on the crash_davis model; very, very, good luck, crash!
Posted by: yhbc on May 15, 2005 10:12 PM:: crosses fingers for crash, sends luck westward from Wisconsin ::
Posted by: aine42 on May 15, 2005 10:25 PMEvery time you give Crash's gramma a really nice ride, Domokun kills a puppy.
*makes a fleeting appearance and runs*
Posted by: ufez on May 16, 2005 01:41 AMwell, if we're going with what I scream at the TV when watching Match game reruns the blank is ususally syphillis or crack whore... but it doesn't quite work here.
Posted by: tj on May 16, 2005 05:34 PMOK, the interview is over, and it wasn't so hot. I think I may be overqualified or overconfident or overhung, or something.
Posted by: Crash on May 16, 2005 05:55 PMBreak down and wear pants to the next one, crash. Sure, it's playing along with their little corporate game, but remenber you can only change the system from inside.
Posted by: yhbc on May 16, 2005 06:55 PMI'm sorry. This just isn't the same without Gene Rayburn's microphone.
Posted by: metrocake on May 17, 2005 08:30 PMI've been humming that bassline for two days straight. It's just so ... porny.
Posted by: Chico on May 18, 2005 10:47 AMA note about posting images:
We encourage users to post images, especially those hilarous pics of monkeys
wearing dresses or programming for Linux. But posting images that reside on someone
else's server is considered by many to be bandwidth theft. Our thoughts
on the matter, along with some solutions to the problem, can be found
here. Thanks.
