May 19, 2005 : Furries: The Next Generation?

People have said these things about that :

Looks like an unholy marriage between a fox, raccoon and bear.

I love red pandas, but that standing up trick is way freaky.

Posted by: tizzie on May 19, 2005 04:54 PM

Make it stop.

Ok, who's been photoshopping the pandas again?

Also, my friend Chris has taken to calling it a "lesser stand-a".

Plus, let's be nice to this weird species. Let's refer to it as a "differently-abled panda."

Speaking of furry new overlords, they've discovered a new monkey species.

Tch. And they didn't even bother to give us a chance at naming rights.

Jesus, I finally get into this damn suit and now I've gotta pee.

The stance just made me think along the lines of:

"Captain, I'm afraid the teleporter may need to be recalibrated again".

Posted by: yhbc on May 19, 2005 08:57 PM

I coulda sworn I just saw ... WITCHSTONE! Wow!

Posted by: tizzie on May 19, 2005 09:45 PM

The Times has a .wav file of the sound the new monkey species makes. I'll leave it to someone else to address how dirty it sounds.

You know that moment in Poltergeist when the ghost is, invisibly, running all around the house and JoBeth Williams suddenly shivers and is overcome and no one is sure exactly what just happened and whether it's good or evil or even real?

That's what this little witchstone sighting just did to me.

"She just moved through me. My God, I felt her...She went through my soul!"

they've discovered a new monkey species.
I'll pass this on to my brother in Kenya. Maybe he will spot one during his stay there. All he has seen are the baboons that attack his camp at night.

Why not join in and say something too?

A note about posting images:

We encourage users to post images, especially those hilarous pics of monkeys wearing dresses or programming for Linux. But posting images that reside on someone else's server is considered by many to be bandwidth theft. Our thoughts on the matter, along with some solutions to the problem, can be found here. Thanks.
