We're on the way to Mr. Tizzie's heart surgery. The preliminaries start tomorrow morning at 7 a.m.
Keep a good thought, ok?

Posted by: ColdChef on April 4, 2007 11:49 PMI heard from Tizzie. So far, so good. And I've got a sackfull of hearts ready and waiting. Where did I get them? Mind your own business.
Posted by: ColdChef on April 5, 2007 06:10 PMTomorrow morning the surgery starts at ... 6 a.m. It's supposed to take 5 hours. Luckily, I brought 'War and Peace' along to read in the waiting room.
Thanks, everyone! It was a looooong procedure and I got to know the hallways really well, but it went smoothly. We won't be certain that it "worked" right away because his heart wasn't constantly in atricular fib, just intermittently. But so far, no a fib. Thanks for all your good thoughts and prayers!
Headed home today!
Posted by: tizzie on April 8, 2007 08:42 AMFantastic news, Tizzie. Glad to hear everything went smoothly.
Posted by: aine42/czelticgirl on April 8, 2007 08:07 PMUfez, my brother is doing consultant work in Dallas for the next few weeks. If I send you his cell number, will you provide a beer drinker's guided tour?

We encourage users to post images, especially those hilarous pics of monkeys
wearing dresses or programming for Linux. But posting images that reside on someone
else's server is considered by many to be bandwidth theft. Our thoughts
on the matter, along with some solutions to the problem, can be found
here. Thanks.
