Tomorrow morning the surgery starts at ... 6 a.m. It's supposed to take 5 hours. Luckily, I brought 'War and Peace' along to read in the waiting room.

Thanks, everyone! It was a looooong procedure and I got to know the hallways really well, but it went smoothly. We won't be certain that it "worked" right away because his heart wasn't constantly in atricular fib, just intermittently. But so far, no a fib. Thanks for all your good thoughts and prayers!

Headed home today!
