Hooray for our own Vidiot! He's doing an awesome job photo-blogging the *shudder* GOP.
I'm just a little bit worried - first, about the GOP cooties, and second, that he wants a suit like this.
Since my blog is still on extended hiatus, please indulge me a little and let me use this space for a little self-promotion. A buddy of mine is a comic book writer in LA. He and some friends have created a book called "Tex: George Bush and the Fine Art of Character Assasination". It's Bush as a satyrical superhero, and it's hilarious. I've created a little animated trailer/music video to promote the book, and I'm pretty proud of it. The music is by a band called Jacaranda, and it's part of a soundtrack CD that comes with every comic book.

Not for lack of trying otherwise, Tizzie has arrived safely in NYC and is now resting in one piece at Chico's.
We are happy to have her! She brought us little toothbrush cups (what's a toothbrush?) and in takiing this picture told me, "Hold it so the monkey shows!" Words to live by.
